President of Georgia spoke about events around Rustavi 2 in the interview to TV company Iberia. Giorgi Margvelashvili believes that Rustavi 2 case will determine what would be the country`s democracy index.

The President said that at all international official meetings the importance of processes around Rustavi 2 and the final result was emphasized.

"This is an important process for the state. That is, the functioning of "Rustavi 2" is important for our state judging by dozens of comments which I heard from high-ranking officials during my international visits.In fact, there has not been a meeting where it would not be underlined that how the Rustavi2 case is finally solved would be an important indicator of how democracy develops in the country, "- said the President.
