Rustavi2 became the reason of a conflict in the parliament, where the majority did not allow the European Georgia MPs to unfold a banner in support of the media. Despite the resistance of the minority,at the order of the ruling party members , the Guard service removed from the hall the banner saying "No media storm".

After several minutes of confrontation, the minority members folded the banner in support of Rustavi 2 and the Public Broadcaster and brought it into the session hall. European Georgia demanded explanations from the Georgian Dream,accordinf to which article of the regulations they were banned to exhibit a banner in support of media and freedom of speech.

The majority could not make any comments regarding the regulations but continued to oppose the exposure of the banner. Several members of the majority,inincluding drunken MPs were especially active

Despite this confrontation, the minority still managed to unfold the banner and sprea it over the Tribune.

Rustavi 2 case will be discussed in Parliament next week as well. The opposition is demanding a parliamentary investigation commission to study the pressure on the judges, who are considering Rustavi 2 case .
