At the moment, Director General of Rustavi 2 is being questioned at the Tbilisi City Court. the questioning is connected with secret recording of the conversation of Nika Gvaramia and former chairman of the Tbilisi City Court, Mamuka Akhvlediani .

As Gvaramia"s lawyer Dmitry Sadzaglishvili before the interrogation , the Interior Ministry`s statement that the recording is authentic is not true. Dmitry Sadzaglishvili said he had heard the full version of the recording and claims that the spread version is fabricated.

"I heard a full version of his record soon and therefore I am informed that this is a fabricated version and it does not reflect all the details of what actually took place during the meeting.

"Since the government has gone beyond the legal framework, it is obvious that the government is ready to take any illegal step a in order to get hold of Rustavi2, including the detention of Nika Gvaramia," - said Dmitry Sadzaglishvili.

Lawyer Tamta Muradashvili speaks about the government`s deliberate pressure on Rustavi2 .

" In our opinion, the government has announced fight without rules to Rustavi2. In this battle, we have no leverage other than honest judges who resist pressure for issuing an illegal decision, "- said Tamta Muradashvili .
