Nine NGOs have issued a joint statement on Rustavi2 case. NGOs have questions regarding involvement in corruption schemes of Rustavi judges and reports on the alleged pressure on them.

They address the Council of Justice, the Prosecutor`s Office and the Mayor`s Office with a request to give answers to existing questions.

NGOs` statement was assessed in the Parliament.

"NGOs once again focus on these issues and call on the prosecution to investigate both cases,which is very important," - said a member of the parliamentary faction "Movement for Freedom - Regions" Zurab Chiaberashvili.

The deputy chair of the National Movement faction, Salome Samadashvili said that the activation of the NGOs was timely.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Policy Committee, Roman Kakulia said that they supported greater transparency.
