Rustavi 2 Director General responded to scheduled trial of Rustavi2 in the Supreme Court on March 2 and the appointment of Grand Chamber judges. Gvaramia said that the chamber includes the judges, whose resucal Rustavi 2 has demanded.

"The composition includes two 2 judge, whose recusal we have requested. This is Nino Gvenetadze, who clearly asserts herself towards Rustavi 2 negatively, in an interview she called us yellow channel and said that she would not comment on the information spread by the yellow channel. We also known about the "tests scandal" in which she is involved, and we think that she will be easily manipulated by the government. We are not questioning the competence of the second judge, but have doubts about her impartiality. We think that she can not be impartial because she is a supporter of the Georgian Dream, a donor of the Georgian Dream and used to head the Legal Department of the Cartu Bank. We believe that such a judge shoud not participate in the trial that the state carries out against Rustavi2.
"We know that the judges have been pressured, everybody knows that this was going on in the courts of every instance and the judges have not resisted this pressure in all instances with the exception of three judges of the Supreme Court who handed over the case to the Grand Chamber," Gvaramia said.
