" Dictatorship has officially been established in Georgia,"- Nika Gvaramia, Director General of Rustavi2 made an announcement at the special briefing a few minutes ago.

" Rustavi 2 is the country`s only major critical media and today it was announced that it will be handed to Bidzina Ivanishvili, We believe that the situation in the country is extremely tense. Georgia`s international image faces serious threats. Therefore, Rustavi2 makes the following announcement : Although we do not recognize the illegal decision, and we consider it as a political and not a legal decision, formally it is still valid. We had consultations with owners , who are legal owners despite the decision of nine judges, who sold their souls , they will have international legal dispute with Kibar Khalvashi.

" Despite all of this, we make the following statement - As it has been officially declared that maintenance of Rustavi 2`s editorial policy is important, as Kibar Khalvashi stated in an interview with TV Pirveli that this is a business issue and he is going to sell Rustavi 2,  I am  making a  following offer - There are people behind me, who made Rustavi as it is now . Hand over Rustavi2 to its staff. If you are not lying and if you don’t want all TV stations to have one voice, hand over Rustavi2 to its staff,"- said Nika Gvaramia.
The Director General of Rustavi2 offers to Kibar Khalvashi to pay the remaining amount to satisfy his commercial interests.

" We will pay 3 million 944 thousand 397 dollars ," - said Gvaramia.

According to him, Rustavi 2 continues broadcasting and this is the company`s final word.
