International relations and law experts believe that the US State Department report on Georgia andis alarming for the country`s government .

Annual report on human rights focuses on teh high profile case of Rustavi 2 and also describes serious violations related to the proceedings of the Rustavi 2 case.

"This report is an alarming for the government. Extremely regrettable is that our partners no longer have doubts regardin the fact that judiciary is not independent in Georgia, and it is particularly highlighted by the case of Rustavi 2, "- said a lawyer, David Jandieri.

In his opinion, it is necessary to use these statements for the protection of Rustavi 2 in the European Court.

Founder of the Center for Strategic Studies, George Rukhadze thinks that the apparent pressure used by the governmen on the courts will have a negative impact on the country`s European and Euro- Atlantic integration perspective.
