Non-parliamentary opposition believes fight against "Rustavi-2" will be detrimental for government

Some opposition parties say that the free world is always against restrictions of the critical media.

"Independence of the judiciary and freedom of the media, these are two fundamental issues which are protected in the European countries and the state violates those principles gets a strict warning," - said a member of the Free Democrats, Nino Goguadze.

Labor Party member, Giorgi Gugava believes that the government is trying to portray the case of Rustavi 2 as a dispute between owners , but they fail to do it at the international level.

The the founder of the movement New Unity for Georgia, Mamuka Gamkrelidze thinks that if the government will not back down, Rustavi 2 case will end badly for it.
The head of the political movement "State for the People" assesses the government`s actions as an "attacks against democratic institutions". According to Nick Machutadze, this attack will not end successfully for the Governmet.
