Stopping of Rustavi 2 Broadcasting company will seriously damage Georgian democracy and the international image of the country - Georgian President said on Imedi TV.

According to Giorgi Margvelashvili, Rustavi 2 has openly declared that it is a pro-Western TV channels, which is in the President`s opinion,has some of the international context and, therefore, increases the sensitivity of the case.

"Stopping of "Rustavi 2" will be a serious blow for Georgian democracy and international image of the country," - Margvelashvili said.
