Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia proposed to create an institution of media ombudsman today. Media representatives believe that this initiative is caused due to a difficult situation . In their view, the additional institutions is not necessary.

" There is no time for formalism today and it is not interesting for me, which institution will the government create. They can just follow some universal laws. It is not necessary to add institutions, which may simply serve to misleading to the west, and to us, within the country," - said Nino Jangirashvili, A Director General of TV Caucasia.

Ninia Kakabadze, the journalist believes that the government;s offer in such situation is suspicious that this is happening to "legitimize the government"s decision."
