250-year-old beech tree broke over

250-year-old beech tree purchased by Ivanishvili for $ 5 thousand has broken in the middle during transportation. The accident happened in Guria, in the village of Natanebi . Police have closed the Natanebi- Lukuri connecting road. The road was opened after the tree was cut into pieces and removed from the road.

Late into the night the company representatives responsible for the transportation of the tree to the Dendrology Park, were working on the ground.

What was the cause of tree damage is unknown.
