Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze has been on hunger strike. The accused on the so-called cyanide case will stop the hunger strike only after seeing the Patriarch and Synod members. The answer of the Church whether they will meet with the accused person is unknown.

If the prosecutor`s office does not respond to the request of the attorneys to lift restrictions on the obligation not to reveal information, they will file an appeal together with the Human Rights Cente in the European Court in Strasbourg at the end of the week.

The so-called Cyanide case is considered in the court behind closed doors . The judge rejected the request to make the process public naming the safety of the Archpriest` family members as a reason.
