A Chairman of parliament made an announcement about a decision of opposition parties- to leave Constitutional Commission. According to Irakli Kobakhidze, despite individual decisions, the commission will continue to work on amendments.

At the same time Irakli Kobakhidze makes another statement in regard to consultations held by the president.

As Mr. Kobakhidze says, several political parties have the intention to leave the Commission, however, as the chairman said a process that started with the commission, will end successfully.

"A few days ago I made a statement about consultations with the President. We had a reliable information that the President had consultations with different parties and non-governmental organizations about leaving the Constitutional Commission,"- said Irakjli Kobakhidze.

"It is unfortunate that this reliable information is true - Some political subjects are going to voice the decision, but naturally, their decisions will not hinder us to end the process, which we have started at the State Constitutional Commission,"-he underlined.
