The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II publishes Easter Epistle which draws attention to several factors, including split in the church.
According to Patriarch"s words, "Sin comes from the fact that man considers himself more wise than the commandments and laws of God; they offer us their rules and laws, or ascribe their own understanding to God`s, in this case the greatest offense is the attemp to split the Church. "
One of the greatest sin named in the Holy Epistle is the treason of the state and the attempt to break its unity.
Ilia II also focuses on suicide and writes:
" Unforgiveable sin is despair and lisuicide. Whoever takes this step, certainly can not stand the gravity of his cross and finds the way out in this action. The main mistake is that they try to cope with the difficulties alone. "
Ilia II calls on the parish to be sullen and notes that "regret is heavenly talent and mercy that changes even the punishment of God."
