Due to the artificial barriers part of Shida Kartli population were unable to visit the graves of their ancestors and relatives.

According to the locals residing near the occupied territories,they have lost their pastures and lands because of the wired fences, though fro them not being able to visit the cemetery left beyond the occupational line is more painful . From year to year the population hopes that the parties can negotiate and they will be able to go to the cemetery .
