Health condition of former MP Vasil Davitashvili is stable

The health condition of Vasil Davitashvili, former MP of the Georgian Parliament is stable. According to doctors, he has been given the necessary assistance and is now being treated in the resuscitation department.

Davitashvili has been attacked today and up wounded with firearm.

Investigation is in progress under Article 2 of the Criminal Code - intentional damage to health and illigal purchase and keeping of weapons.

According to family members of the victim, the attacker is a resident of Telavi and has a criminal past.

Whether the MIA has detained the attacket of Vasil Davitashvili is not known at the moment.
