The initiative against pro-Russian propaganda - the Transparency International Georgia will addresses the Parliament with a new legislative initiative today.

The third sector states that it is necessary to prohibit any kind of pre-election advertising and agitation aimed at legitimizing the occupation of Georgia by the Russian Federation and in this regard there are deficiencies in the law.

"There is a flaw in the law, as it forbids only the pre-election program, which contains risks, but it is does not forbid the pre-election agitation. The problem can not be fully solved, but it will be a step forward to fight pro-Russian propaganda in Georgia, "said Lika Sajaia.
