The presentation of the four-year project, "Mayors for Economic Growth" was held in Tbilisi today. The EU will allocate grants to the Eastern Partnership countries for strengthening economic potential of local self-governments.
The project will work on identifying investments and identifying priorities.
"This project deals with the development of local economy in the regions. Six countries are involved in it. The European Union believes that they should assist to develop local economy." sa0d Peter Corps, the project director.
