Ukrainian Foreign Minister met with Mikhail Janelidze in Tbilisi yesterday.

A joint declaration was signed on the 25th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Ukraine.

The document condemns the occupation and aggression of the territories of Georgia and Ukraine by Russia, which is a gross violation of fundamental principles of international law. The emphasis is made on increasing the political dialogue between the two countries and the importance of holding regular meetings.

After the meeting, the main diplomats of the two countries held a joint press conference.
