Estonia"s foreign minister, Sven Mikser comments about the elections in France. He states that is interested in maintaining France"s leading role in the EU.

In an exclusive interview with Rustavi 2, he also spoke about EU enlargement and membership of Georgia. According to Sven Mikser, the country should continue to develop and reform.

"As for the expansion of Europe, it will largely depend on the internal democracy of those countries who want to enter the European family. For Georgia, it is important to fulfill its homework. Be prepared to be absolutely ready at the time when the window is opened. You will always be able to make an application. The main thing is to continue reforms and modernization,"- said Sven Mikser.
