An Attorney of Merab Ghoghoberidze, accused of organizing events in Batumi refused to protect him.

As Zaza Papidze told Rustavi 2, one more lawyer Paata Shavadze is involved in the case, which became a basis for his decision to refuse defend Ghoghoberidze.

According to Papiadze , there was a conflict of interest on the defense tactics between the lawyers and finally he made a decision to recuse.
Zaza Papidze declares that Gogoberidze was already informed about his decision.

Merab Ghoghoberidze and former member of United National Movement -Irakli Chkhirkva were detained yesterday in Batumi. They are charged under part one of the Article 225 of the Criminal Code, which implies organizing or managing group actions, accompanied by violence, damaging or destroying someone else"s belongings, using arms against the government representative or attacking them.
