Revaz Arveladze, a deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Sector Economy and Economic Policy thinks that the increase in natural gas tariff is expected as long as investments have been made in the gas sector and the course of the Lari is fluctuating .

"Since 2005, large investments have been made, multi-million investments in the gas sector and the second,there are changes in the exchange rate of the dollar. These are two main reasons why the gas tariff should be increased objectively, "said Revaz Arveladze.

In his opinion, the gas price will rise more in the regions, as there have been much bigger investments.
