Former BBC journalist N igel l Kay, who is one of the most experienced specialists in planning of emergency situations in the world, is holding a 3-day training . Nigel Kay teaches journalists, public relations specialists and government officials the aspects of media and government cooperation in crisis situations, .

The aim of the study is to outline media`s special role in the risk, readiness and response phases.

"The most effective tool for people to respond to emergency situations is to communicate and provide them with information on how to stay safe and secure. I welcome this possibility that I am here to share my experience with this particular audience, "said Nigel Kay.
