Noise and confrontation between teachers and ministry representatives at school N162 - teachers and parents protest against the agreement, according to which five primary classes of experimental school N1 should be housed in the building of the public school N162. The staff of the school N162 states that it will be a prerequisite for abolishing of their school.

The memorandum with the experimental school, as the teachers said, was signed secretly. According to their information, the director of the school N162 has signed a document of cooperation withou informing the staff.

The decision made by the school principal has caused a radical protest of teachers and parents today. The teachers did not attend the lessons today and demanded the resignation of the acting director. In the spread statement, the main point concerns the cancellation of the memorandum.

Education Minister Jejelava says that before the memorandum was signed, several meetings were held with teachers and they were informed about it. The Minister does not exclude that the memorandum may be canceled due to protests.
