According to the public opinion poll conducted by NDI, 79% of respondents are aware of the developments around Rustavi 2.

On question, whether they have heard about the verdict of the Supreme Court, which gave Rustavi 2 to Kibar Khalvashi, 16% answered that i they have not.

From 79% of those who have heard about this verdict, 56% believe that the government interfered iin the case. 17% disagree with this opinion.

46% thinks that this decision will limit the freedom of media in Georgia. 33% do not think so.

46% considers that judges were pressured during the examination of the case and 20% disagree with this opinion.

35% thinks that the Rustavi 2 case was only the issue of business ownership, which was not connected to politics, 41 % disagrees with them.

44% thinks that the court was no fair in regard to Rustavi 2 , 28% think that it was fair.

The public survey was conducted in April with a face-to-face interview. About 2,500 people were interviewees across Georgia.
