Patriarch has released a statement regarding the construction of high voltage power lines in Kazbegi and Mtiuleti.

"The mountain family tourism is one of the serious directions and it should not be hindered, the proximity of high voltage wires to populated areas will also have a negative impact. Everything should be done to find a way out. It may be connected with additiona expenditures, but where it is possible counter-steps should be taken and people should feel support, "- says Ilia II`s statement.
