"School exams are irrelevant and should be canceled," said Rustavi-2 general director and former minister of education, Nika Gvaramia at Saturday"s courier. He responded to the fact that 11 thousand pupils failed at the exams.
According to him, the Georgian educational system took the wrong direction of making stricter the examination and made the situation worse. According to Nika Gvaramia`s assessment, the schooling exams are an excessive burden for pupils and schools.
"Until teachers in this country can not teach, we have no right to say that pupils do not study," Nika Gvaramia said.
According to the former Minister of Education, education funding should increase 3-4 times. According to him, schooling and adequate staffing should be done.
