NATO Deputy Secretary General focuses on importance of free media

NATO Deputy Secretary of State, Roose Gottmiller, gave an exclusive interview to Rustavi 2 and spoke about the importance of the rule of law in the country.She noted that NATO has great respect for international law.

Deputy Secretary General of NATO noted that free media is one of the most important aspects of the rule of law.

"NATO supports the rule of law, as it is a strong aspect. We as an organization respect the rule of law and international law. For progress and development, the countries need to realize that it is necessary to properly adhere to the rule of law and other norms. Of course, free media is an integral part of these principles, "- said Rose Gottmiller.

Rose Gotmiller visited Georgia within the frames of NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
