"I appreciate Georgia"s aspiration towards the EU and NATO - this statement was made by Polish President Andrzej Duda at the joint press conference at the Presidential Palace of Georgia today. The Polish president spoke about Polish-Georgian relations and said that the two countries are linked with friendship.

The Polish President mentioned Lech Kaczynski"s attitude towards Georgia and underlined that he knew about Georgia"s strategic importance in the region.

"I appreciate Georgia"s aspiration towards the EU, NATO and when it came to critical moment in 2008, when Russia attacked Georgia, President Lech Kaczynski arrived to Georgia without any hesitation, he immediately arrived in Tbilisi with the Central European leaders,"- said Andrzej Duda.
