"Investigation is underway at MIA" - Irakli Shotadze speaks about Azerbaijani journalist`s case

"Investigation has begun in the Ministry of Internal Affairs," - said Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze regarding the case of Azerbaijani journalist, Afgan Mukhtarli. Irakli Shotadze did not talk about the details of the investigation.

"I can not tell you how he left the country, I can tell you that the investigation in the Interior Ministry is underway, and all relevant investigative actions will be carried out I can not talk about details of the investigation because at this stage I have no information about any consultations and negotiations, - stated Irakli Shotadze.

Azerbaijan journalist Apgan Mukhtar disappeared from Tbilisi yesterday. At the end of the day it turned out that he was detained by law enforcers on the territory of Azerbaijan.
