"This person crossed the border illegally," - said the Vice-Prime Minister and Education Minister Aleksandre Jejelava in connection with the Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Makhtarl.

According to Aleksandre Jejelava, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has begun the investigation.

"This person has illegally crossed the border, but the MIA has begun an investigation and we will have more accurate information in the nearest future,"- said Alexander Jejelava.

Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtar disappeared from Tbilisi yesterday. At the end of the day it turned out that he is on the territory of Azerbaijan and was detained by the law enforcers.
