The Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia did not receive the Patriarchate`s Lawyer Edisher Karchava. Edisher Karchava clarified that his statements on the Metropolitan of Chkondidi Petre were not agreed with anyone.

"I"m unequivocally claim that the statements I made against Metropolitan Petre were just a decision made by me. Patriarch is a bishop and my supervisor, so if his holiness will be ready, I am ready to meet him and talk to him at any time, "- said Edisher Karchava.

When asked why the "Patriarch did not want to meet with Patriarchate`s lawyer," Edisher Karchava retorted that the journalists had misinterpreted the information.

"I can tell you that his holiness is aware of all current affairs. I am telling you that he knows about all the major programs, all the major issues concerning the country and the church, "- said Edisher Karchava.

The lawyer could not confirm whether the Catholicos-Patriarch had seen Edisher Karchava`s interview.

Deacon Kakhaber Gogotishvili was with Ilia II. According to him, Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia did not know anything about Editsar Karchava`s accusations. The archpriest Kakhaber Gogotishvili does not know whetheranybody in the Patriarchate knows anything about the evidence provided by the lawyer to the Prosecutors Office on the basis of which Edisher Karchava voiced accusations against Petre Tsaava.
