Representatives of 5 media outlets met with US Ambassador to Georgia Jan Kelley in connection with the case of Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli. The meeting at the US Embassy finished a few minutes ago.

" We have been asking for a meeting with the government for one week. We are asking for answers to questions about how hsppened that a journalist from Azerbaijan disappeared from the center of Tbilisi and turned out to be in Baku prison and why the footage from the surveillance cameras was not removed, which confirmed our doubts. The Georgian journalists emphasized the suspicious situation surrounding the case.
