Courier has found out details of the scandalous kidnapping - the person, who has been kidnapped from Tbilisi center of a founder of the construction company " Sveti". reportedly the kidnappers were trying to extort a certain amount of money through the threat of physical assault.

Gia Jibladze says he was kidnapped while leaving his house. The businessman says that four kidnappers arrived with a mini-bus, covered his head with sack and took to one of the parking lots.

According to Jibladze, the kidnapping was preceded by the controversy with the sculptor Zurab Tsereteli"s company representatives. Jibladze assumes that the persons linked to this company are the kidnappers. However he believes that Zurab Tsereteli himself was not informed about the fact.

As Gia Jibladze says, there was a shooting at his office a few days ago.

Law enforcers have detained suspected kidnappers as a result of special operation.

Investigation is ongoing on the fact of extortion and illegal deprivation of liberty.
