More than 10 socially unprotected families remain in disaster zone after 2 years of June 13 disaster

More than 10 socially unprotected families remain in Vere Valley after the disaster that occurred on June 13, 2015. The authorities did not recognize them as victims, including Irma Butkhuzi with little children. Despite the fact thatthe yard and the rest of the house are still flooded from rain, socially vulnerable families have no status of victims.

The family has several conclusions given by the Samkharauli expertise, which makes it clear that the building is not suitable for living.

There are more than 10 families living in Tskneti valley who do not have victim status. Part of residential houses is damaged. The locals say that their yards are covered with water during the rainy season.

So far, the families evacuated from Tskneti gorge after the disaster in 2015 live in rented houses. Aza Javoeva still does not know whether her family will be compensated because her house, where she lived for years with her parents, was not registered in the registry.
