The verbal abuse and controversy between Parliamentarians, Endzela Machavariani and Roman Gotsiridze, followed the 2016 report of the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster. Majority MPs were irritated by the opposition`s questions, who were interested in closing down of two programs of the Radio Liberty on the GPB.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster responded to the opposition`s critical questions. Grigol Gogelia disapproved "Radio Liberty" projects and said that the programs will be replaced by the best programs in the nearest future.

Before the Public Broadcaster presented report in the parliament, a protest rally was held at the First Channel against the planned reform, which will close down 42 programs until 17 July on the "Second Channel".

Today political parties joined the rally held in front of the Public Broadcaster. The opposition sees the government`s interests behind the ongoing reforms in the broadcaster.

The demands of the protesters remained unanswered today. Presumably, a list of the programs that win the competition will be announced on June 21.
