The parliamentary majority is confronting the president and his administration for statements made about constitutional amendments. Members of the ruling team criticize the opposition and the third sector for boycotting the new constitution.

Zaza Gabunia, deputy chairperson of the parliamentary faction "Georgian Dream - Greens" calls the president`s administration a "theater troupe".

"Let"s evaluate together today who criticizes the draft constitutional amendments. The opposition that avoids the responsibility and the NGOs who have worked on the constitution, former cimmisars of the former authoritarian regime , for whom the democratic discourse is completely alien and the president, whose administration is a theater troupe offering daily masterclasses of destruction, "- Zaza Gabunia said.

Nino Tsilosani, the secretary of the faction Georgian Dream, criticized the opposition for boycotting the constitutional amendments.

"I understand the opposition`s boycott, because their direct purpose is to engage in the processes and to oppose them. This is basically the betrayal of their voters, " -said Nino Tsilosani.
