The closed trial of "Cyanide case" is over. A total of seven witnesses have been interrogated at the trial. Among them , a businessman with whom the prosecution said Mamaladze was travelling to Germany and whom he asked for 7,000 euros that he needed for the treatment of the Patriarch.
The testimonies were also issued by the airport security staff. According to the lawyers of Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze, the prosecutor`s office was closed down the trial so that the public would not hear the testimonies of the participants of planting the cyanide and the lawyers` questions. According to the lawyers, all the circumstances indicate that the cyanide was planted.
