The head of the Special State Protection Service has been summoned to the court. The reason is the document signed by Anzor Chubinidze which the investigation has been concealing up to now.
New circumstances have emerged in the case of former head of the security service, Temur Janashia in the case of the ex-president`s jackets .
The scandalous documents were presented by the defense side.
The criminal case named "Janashia-Saakashvili" is known by a scandeal related to purchase of 5 jackets and one cashmere coat . The investigation started several years ago, but the Prosecutor"s Office has not yet presented the documents signed by Chubinidze as evidence.
Chubinidze will have to answer the question whether he was spending money from the president`s fund when Temur Janashia was charged for similar actions.
Two witnesses of the prosecution were questioned at today`s trial. Both of them spoke in detail about the expenses spent on catering and services of the former president and his state level meetings.
The next hearing will be held on July 7.
