The head of the church says that it is the third time that this church is damaged, but the facts have not yet been disclosed. The cleric suspects that the destruction of the shrine is in the interest of specific individuals and is done intentionally. A church in Marneuli, which was built in the nineteenth century, has a status of cultural heritage.
