The price of the train fares will rincrease from July 1. Georgian Railway explains that the increase in the travel price serves to improve the service. According to the head of the press service, from July 1,the prices for only the business and first class tickets will be increased . Dachi Tsaguria also says that the increased price will be valid not only in the summer season but will continue to operate from July 1.

Seasonal prices were introduced on passenger tickets by the decision of the Board of Directors of Georgian Railway in 2013. For five years, the price of Tbilisi-Batumi direction has increased in the summer season, but this time the price will remain unchanged for all four seasons.
