Mamuka Mdinaradze, the chairperson of the Georgian Dream faction, thinks that the opposition is trying to bring the process of adoption of constitutional changes to the deadlock.

"It`s odd and inadequate from our opponents to demand that this process be dismissed. I agree with Mr. Buquicchio`s conclusion that this is a deadlock situation and there is crisis regarding the consensus but this is how our opponents behave. As soon as there were talks about the political agreement, they immediately applied to the most destructive actions and statements, "- Mamuka Mdinaradze said.

The President of the Venice Commission, Gianni Buquicchio, met with the representatives of the opposition parties recently and politicians say that he welcomes the idea of withdrawing the constitution from the parliament.
