Georgia remains committed to the obligations taken with the North Atlantic Alliance. The Defense Minister said in Brussels. Levan Izoria participated in the NATO Defense Ministerial and delivered a speech at the meeting within the frame of "Strong Support" program.

He spoke about Georgia`s participation in international missions. Izoria also met with colleagues. According to the Defense Minister, Georgia intends to continue contribution in the same amount after 2018.

It became known at the ministeria that NATO is expanding its contribution in Afghanistan.

The Ministerial also discussed NATO-EU relations, the fight against international terrorism and threats coming from Russia.
