The Public Defender is disappointed with the process of reviewing the constitutional bill. Ucha Nanuashvili considers that adopting the bill in expedited mode without a broad consensus is unjustified.

According to the Ombudsman, the work on the project should continue and the existing shortcomings which were revealed by the Venice Commission together with the opposition and civil sector should be corrected.
