The search warrant was issued by the British Supreme Court, which revealed that the data-analytics company harvested data from 50 million Facebook users to develop psychological profiles on behalf of political campaigns, including that of President Trump.
After a scandal last week, Facebook became an object of acute criticism. Stocks of the company founded by Mark Zuckerberg fell by 7 percent.
