Discussion of the general plan of the city was going on the background of political accusations. The general plan was discussed at the parliamentary library by initiative of City Institute.

The mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, did not attend the discussion of the General Plan. Kaladze"s deputies listened to the arguments of the authors.

Levan Khabeishvili, member of the Faction "United National Movement" of Tbilisi Sakrebulo called on the City Hall to adopt a general plan.

Elene Khoshtaria, member of the parliamentary faction "European Georgia", said that implementation of the general plan requires a lot of effort.

Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi Irakli Khmaladze accused the opponents in political intimidation.

Irakli Khmaladze noted that consultations with City Council will continue in case they share the City Hall positions.
Mamuka Salukvadze, Director General of "City Institute of Georgia" states that some of the announcements made by the City Hall representatives today should not be reflected in the general plan.
