In Poti the opposition protests the creation of a new service, where 3 senior and only one specialist were appointed. Economic Development and Tourism Service has one head, deputy head and head of the department.

The members of the National Movement say that this is unreasonable expenditure of the budget and the newly created service is absolutely functionless, as the number of tourists in the city is reduced every year.

"There is a very low budget in this situation when the city is deteriorated and they say that this service will definitely attract investors, is a fraudulent lie," said the member of the Poti Sakrebulo from the United National Movement Darejan Tskhvitaria.

The local authorities do not share the opinion of the opposition. According to Poti Mayor, this service is in the process of formation.
