The Abkhazian de-facto government calls the initiative of the Georgian government to "Step rowards a better future" " false and cover for real intentions." Minister of Foreign Affairs of the de facto republic Daur Kove responds to the Georgian government"s peace initiatives.

"I will appeal to the Georgian government to stop lies in favor of its political ambitions," the statement reads.

Dour Kove writes that the only step towards better future is recognition of independence of the Republic of Abkhazia by Georgia.
