"The Church and State should be separated from each other, but they must cooperate in the process of building of the country," said the Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia in his Easter Epistle, which was introduced to the parish at the Trinity Cathedral late last night.
"The fact is that we all want a strong, developed country. The only way to achieve this is if the system of correct values will exist and this will solve political, economic and social problems. Disoriented society will fall into the chaos and the state will be greatly hurt. We believe that the church and state should be separated from each other, but it is necessary to cooperate in the process of building the country, "says the epistle.
