The president has made a statement about the pardon of Vepkhia Bakradze, accused of murdering 25-year-old Tamar Gamrekelashvili. Giorgi Margvelashvili spoke about the circumstances due to which the Pardon Commission decided to pardon Vepkhia Bakradze at the briefing.

According to Giorgi Margvelashvili, Bakradze"s wife addressed the commission for pardon. The president said that all the documents required for pardon were in order.
Giorgi Margvelashvili also said today that the Commission decided to pardon judges for violent crimes.
